SAS Nagar 19th May:- Monika Lamba, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, visited the Roopnagar Jail, where the Under trial and Convicts of District Mohali are kept and held a Camp Court.
Paralegal Volunteer and Panel Lawyer also accompanied Ld. Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, under trial and convicts of Mohali were gathered, who were made aware of free legal services provided by office of District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar. Pamphlets were distributed to all of them.
As per law every person should be represented through an advocate in the court and the under trial were individually asked whether they are represented through advocate or not, and forms were filled on the spot for providing free legal aid and legal advice were given on the spot by Panel Lawyer who accompanied the Ld. Secretary.
