Animation Experts Shares Latest Trends in The Industry

Chandigarh 23rd July:- To interact with bigwigs of the animation and Visual Effects (VFX) industry, Arena Animation, Chandigarh, gave an opportunity to all lovers of this creative pursuit. This was achieved through 'Perspectives' -- a seminar on Animation which familiarized prospective as well as current Animation students, with the latest tools & technology being used in the Industry.

Vineet Raj Kapoor, Director, , Arena Animation, said, that career avenues in Multimedia, Animation and VFX industry are growing.  Viewing better prospects; Arena Animation announces an association with Pixar -- one of the World's largest animated Production house for offering Pixar Renderman Software to students. We have today launched new courses for aspirants that include new technologies like 3D Projection Mapping, Augmented reality, Pixar Renderman, Crowd Simulation, Houdini and many more.

 The interactive session provided aspirants of Animation courses first –hand knowledge on Animation & New-age Technologies from International creative experts. Mr. Gaurav Malhotra, CEO and Co-Founder of ARTHA Animation talked about 'Scope & Career Opportunities', in Animation & VFX. It is noteworthy to mention that Mr. Gaurav has been instrumental in delivering a variety of projects like Tinker Bell (Disney), Planes (Disney), Noddy(BBF), Wendy(Red kite Animation), Jungle book and many more. Mr. Gaurav said, "The Visual Effects Industry is growing fast. There is a major requirement of skilled manpower for taking up animation and visual effects projects in Bollywood as well as Tellywood."

During the session, Prosenjit Ganguly, who is an alumnus and former Member of the Faculty of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, addressed students on the subject: 'Living Animation'. Prosenjit Ganguly is a multifaceted Animation professional as he is a screenwriter, creative director, IP creator, stop-motion animator, voice artist and media educator. His short films have been showcased in more than 20 countries winning three international awards. According to Mr. Ganguly, "I explained to the young audience the creative process of Animation, from Script to Screen. My emphasis was also on how the audience of children was growing in animation and the need for making software to meet demands of this market. The scope of developing Animated property for International broadcasters was also immense.

 Dr Rajan Johri, Managing Partner, LeadWynn Inc, and an alumnus of IIT, Delhi spoke on Changing mindsets to co-create a new way of working and institutionalizing a modern and future oriented work ethos. Rajan is a 'creative' professional and has conceptualized and produced training films. What's more, as Principal Consultant with the Leadership Development Board at HCL Technologies, he handled prestigious projects for Indian Railways and Indian Police.
