SWACH Accelerator Program for Start-ups Unveiled

Mohali, April 18, 2024:- Innovation Mission Punjab, IIT Ropar Technology Innovation Foundation AWaDH- Agriculture & Water Development Hub, and India Sanitation Coalition announced the launch of SWACH, an Accelerator Program dedicated to empowering start-up's in the WASH sector (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene). SWACH, which stands for Sanitation and Water Action for Conserving Humanity, is set to create a significant impact in the landscape of the WASH sector by providing tailored support, mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities to innovative entrepreneurs across India.

In a unique collaboration where the technical prowess of IIT Ropar AWaDH, the business acumen of Innovation Mission Punjab, and the sectoral expertise of India Sanitation Coalition, SWACH is uniquely positioned to drive impactful change. Leveraging the entrepreneurial spirit of start-ups with cutting-edge research, SWACH aims to catalyze transformative solutions that address critical challenges in water accessibility, sanitation, and hygiene practices.

Prof. Rajeev Ahuja (Director - IIT Ropar & IIT Guwahati) in a statement said that he is pleased to announce the launch of the SWACH Accelerator Program & am sure that this program will foster an impeccable wave to bolster R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship in sanitation & water management, providing start-ups with resources to develop scalable solutions for a cleaner, healthier future.

She commend the collaborative approach dedicated to recognizing and supporting innovative solutions.

The SWACH accelerator program will select a cohort of 12 start-ups from across India to participate in a rigorous 10-month acceleration journey. During this period, start-ups will benefit from top-class mentorship, capacity building, roadmap implementation, piloting opportunities, and funding readiness support. The program will culminate in a demo day where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses to venture capitalists, impact investors, and stakeholders from the country's ecosystem as an opportunity to raise Funds.

The call for applications for the SWACH accelerator program starts on 18th April 2024. Interested start-ups are encouraged to apply by 20th May 2024, the last date: and be part of this transformative journey towards equitable access to clean water and proper sanitation.

Chandigarh, April 17, 2024:- श्री राम का इतिहास आज्ञा पालन करने का था। वे आज्ञा का उल्लंघन नहीं करते थे। इसी कारण श्री राम आज लोगों की हृदय में बसे हुए हैं। महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती जी ने कैकई को वीरांगना कहा है ऐसा त्याग करने वाली स्त्री पैदा नहीं हुई है। उपरोक्त शब्द आर्य समाज सेक्टर 19 सी चण्डीगढ़ रामनवमी पर्व के दौरान सहारनपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश से पधारे वैदिक विद्वान आचार्य शिवकुमार शास्त्री ने कहे। उन्होंने कहा कि कैकई को पता था कि रावण जैसे दुष्ट राक्षस धरती पर बढ़ रहे हैं। कैकई श्री राम से स्नेह करती थी। जब भरत ने चित्रकूट में राम जी को अयोध्या वापस जाने के लिए कहा तो श्री राम ने कहा कि माता-पिता का आदेश उनके लिए सर्वोपरि है। यह ऋषियों का भी संदेश है। संस्कृति को तार-तार करने वालों को खत्म करना अनिवार्य हो गया था। श्री राम जी केवल चरण वंदना करना ही नहीं जानते बल्कि माता-पिता के आचरण बंदन को भी भली भांति  जानते हैं। वे वचनों के अनुरागी हैं।  जब वे माता कौशल्या से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि मेरे अनुज भरत को राज्य मिला है जबकि मुझे वन राज्य प्राप्त हुआ है। जब राम वन की ओर गमन करते हैं तो भरत माता  कैकई के कारण खुद को दोषी समझ रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि राम जी के चरित्र को जीवन में उतारने की आवश्यकता है।  उन्होंने कहा कि नित्य कर्म न करने से पाप लगता है। जो मनुष्य ईश्वर से दूर होता है वह परेशान होगा। दुख दूर करने का साधन भीतर ही है। शरीर में 209 पहाड़ हैं। उसके जितने भी जोड़ है वे दिखाई नहीं देते इसलिए वे बेजोड़ हैं। रचना करने वाले ईश्वर ने इसे अंदर से रचा है इसलिए अंदर बैठकर ही शांति प्राप्त हो सकती है।  उन्होंने कहा कि शरीर के अंदर तीनों नदियों का संगम है। इसी में गंगा, यमुना और गुप्त सरस्वती का संगम है। उन्होंने कहा कि शरीर के अंदर ही गुफा है यह गुफा हृदय के पास कमल की आकृति जैसा खाली स्थान है वहां परमपिता परमात्मा विराजमान हैं। छिपे हुए को जाने के लिए शांत होना पड़ेगा।  महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती ने ब्रह्म यज्ञ को  ही मानसिक दुखों से छूटने का तरीका बताया है।  पितृ यज्ञ करने से परिवार में सुख शांति होगी। सुख स्वर्ग है और दुख नर्क है।  जीते जी माता-पिता की सेवा करना ही श्रद्धा है। कार्यक्रम  पर्व बड़े ही धूमधाम एवं हर्षोल्लास से पंच कुंडीय महायज्ञ के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ। भजनों की सुमधुर प्रस्तुति आर्य जगत के प्रसिद्ध भजनोपदेशक पण्डित उपेन्द्र आर्य ने की। उन्होंने ऋषियों का जमाना किधर गया जी,  मात-पिता तुझे बंधन, किस्मत से तुम्हे पाया, राम जा रहा है आदि भजनों की मनमोहक प्रस्तुति से सबको आत्म विभोर कर दिया। विशिष्ट वक्ता आचार्य नरेन्द्र देव ने बहुत सुन्दर वक्तव्य प्रस्तुत किया। मीना सेठी एवं स्थानीय कार्यकर्ताओं ने भी भजन प्रस्तुत किए।

It is celebrated on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri. A special assembly was conducted to mark the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram.

The celebrations began with an informative talk that highlighted the descent of the Vishnu avatar of Lord Rama on earth, who is considered to be one of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Lord Rama is believed to be an ideal human being and a symbol of truth, righteousness, and virtue. He is also known for his bravery, courage, and devotion to his duty.

Then a melodious hymn was sung in the praise of Goddess Durga by the students which reverberated the atmosphere of the school with positivity.

President Manav Singla  shared his views on the exemplary life journey of lord Rama and motivated students to follow the path of humility, truthfulness and sincerity. The purpose of celebrating the festival was to familiarize the students with our rich culture, heritage and traditions. District Cricket Association Mohali boys won the Punjab State Inter-District Under- 23 Cricket Championship by defeating Amritsar in a thrilling final. In this thrilling final match played from 13 to 16 April 2024, the team of Mohali District Cricket Association displayed a brilliant display of skill and determination by defeating Amritsar to win the championship title.

Mohali team batted first and made a strong score of 516 runs in which batsmen Rushil Srivastava (105 runs), Jovenpreet (99 runs) and Aryan Bhatia (98 runs) showed brilliant performance. In reply, Amritsar team also fought bravely but ultimately got all out for 458 runs. Among Mohali bowlers, captain Ayush Goyal, Harshdeep Singh and Arshpreet Singh performed brilliantly and took three wickets each. Mohali got a lead of 58 runs in the first innings and on the basis of this lead the team achieved a spectacular victory.

Chandigarh, April 17, 2024:- वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेता और चंडीगढ़ लोकसभा क्षेत्र से इंडिया गठबंधन के संयुक्त उम्मीदवार मनीष तिवारी ने कहा है कि यह चुनाव आम लोगों के लिए न्याय के साथ-साथ देश में लोकतंत्र की रक्षा हेतु लड़े जा रहे हैं। 

श्री रामनवमी के अवसर पर शहर में आयोजित अलग-अलग कार्यक्रमों और चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस कार्यालय में 22 गांवों के प्रतिनिधियों से बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए, तिवारी ने कहा कि देश का आम आदमी बड़े स्तर पर बेरोजगारी और कमर तोड़ महंगाई के चलते भारी दिक्कतों का सामना कर रहा है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि मौजूदा हालातों में आम आदमी के लिए दो वक्त की जरूरतों को भी पूरा करना मुश्किल हो चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां लोगों की आमदन कम हो रही है, वहीं पर जरूरी चीजों के दाम लगातार बढ़ रहे हैं।

उन्होंने जोर देते हुए कहा कि यूपीए सरकार के शासनकाल में खाद्य सुरक्षा कानून, मनरेगा और लोगों के खातों में सीधे सब्सिडी ट्रांसफर जैसी जनहित तहसील स्कीमों को लाया गया था। लेकिन मौजूदा शासन ने जमीनी स्तर पर काम करने की बजाय सिर्फ झूठे वादे किए। उन्होंने कहा कि बीते 10 सालों में भाजपा सरकार ने देश के करोड़ों लोगों को गरीबों की रेखा के नीचे धकेल दिया है। 

इस दौरान प्रदेश काग्रेस अध्यक्ष एच.एस लक्की ने कहा कि सांसद मनीष तिवारी के रूप में कांग्रेस ने चंडीगढ़ की आवाज को संसद तक पहुंचाने के लिए एक सही फैसला लिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सांसद तिवारी ना सिर्फ चंडीगढ़ के रहने वाले हैं, बल्कि श्री आनंदपुर साहब से सांसद होने के दौरान भी उन्होंने चंडीगढ़ के कई अहम मुद्दों को गंभीरता के साथ संसद में उठाया, जो निश्चित तौर पर लोकसभा हल्के के हितों की रक्षा में मजबूती के साथ अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाएंगे।

Chandigarh, April 17, 2024:-रामनवमी का पावन अवसर पर सेक्टर 26 स्थित किन्नर जय माता मंदिर में आज हर्षोल्लास और श्रद्धाभाव से मनाया गया। किन्नर जय माता मंदिर प्रमुख कमली माता द्वारा पूजा अर्चना के बाद 108 कन्याओं को पंक्ति में बिठा उनके चरण धुला और स्पर्श कर उनका पूजन किया गया और उनमें प्रसाद बांटा गया।

   कमली माता ने बताया कि नवरात्रो के पावन अवसर पर मंदिर में 09 दिन से माता के सभी स्वरूपों की विधिवत रूप से पूजा आरती की गई। नवरात्रों के अंतिम दिन आज रामनवमी के शुभावसर पर मंदिर में माता की आरती की गई। उसके बाद पूजा अर्चना के बाद 108 कन्याओं को पंक्ति में बिठा उनके चरण धुला और स्पर्श कर उनका पूजन किया गया और उनमें प्रसाद बांटा गया। इसके पश्चात भक्तों में लँगर प्रसाद बांटा गया।

Chandigarh, April 16, 2024:- सेक्टर 36 के पीपल कन्वेंशन सेंटर में आर डब्ल्यू ए और एम डब्ल्यू ए के प्रधान और  एग्जीक्यूटिव सदस्यों ने एरिया पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी के साथ एक  विशेष बैठक कर वार्ड में आ रही विभिन्न समस्याओं पर चर्चा की। इस मौके पर लायंस और एम ओ एच के लोग मौजूद थे। बैठक के दौरान पेड़ों से गिर रहे सूखे पतों, पेड़ों की शाखाओं से फैल रही गंदगी को सहेजने के समाधान निकालने पर चर्चा की गई। इसके साथ ही कंक्रीट सी एंड डी वेस्ट को कैसे उठाना और किसको शिकायत किए जाने पर भी विचार विमर्श किया गया।

मीटिंग के दौरान सेक्टर 36 में ट्रैफिक की समस्या पर चर्चा की गई । क्योंकि रोजाना दिन शाम को युवावर्ग दोपहिया और चौपहिया वाहन रोड पर लगाकर  जमकर हो हल्ला करते हैं। जिससे मार्किट और पार्क में सैर करने आने वाली युवतियों और महिलाओं को इनकी भद्दी फब्तियों से दो चार होना पड़ता है। इस पर भी कैसे अंकुश लगाया जाए, पर भी गंभीरता से चर्चा की गई।

 पार्षद जसवीर सिंह बंटी ने समस्या की गंभीरता को देखते हुए जल्द ही चंडीगढ़ के एसपी ट्रैफिक और एस एस पी से मिलकर मुद्दे को हल करने का आश्वासन दिया।

 इस मौके पर आर डबल्यू ए के प्रधान परमजीत सिंह, मेजर जनरल सी एस वेबली, दिनेश कपिल, कमल मल्ही, अरुण अग्रवाल, सरिता शर्मा, जीव अरोरा, राजेश, अनुज सहगल आदि लोग मौजूद थे ।

एम ओ एच की टीम ने बताया की गार्डन वेस्ट के लिए हम बुधवार और शनिवार को ट्रालियां भेजी जाती हैं और शाम को स्पेशल ड्राइव के तहत जितने भी सूखे पत्ते पार्क और रोड साइड एकत्रित होते हैं, उनको उठाकर सेक्टर को साफ सुथरा रखे जाने का प्रयास रहता है, जो भविष्य में भी जारी रहेगा।

चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस के हिमाचल सेल के नेताओ ने दिया पदों से इस्तीफा

Chandigarh, April 17, 2024:- चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस के ज्यादातर पदाधिकारियों ने अपने पद से कल इस्तीफा दिया थे। और आज फिर चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस के हिमाचल सेल के चेयरमैन समेत 30 के करीब लोगों ने इस्तीफा दिया है। अब तक करीब 90 के करीब कांग्रेस पार्टी के अधिकारी इस्तीफा अपने पदों से दे चुके हैं।

सभी पदाधिकारियों ने कांग्रेस के अधयक्ष श्री मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे को अपना इस्तीफा भेज दिया है। इन नेताओं ने दो टूक बात करते हुए कहा कि लक्की ने जिस तरह से कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता श्री पवन कुमार बंसल जी के बारे में अपशब्द कहे , चंडीगढ़ के हर कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओं को ठेस पहुंची है।

लक्की ने श्री बंसल के बारे में अपने इंस्टाग्राम की स्टोरी में पोस्टर जारी किया जिसमें लिखा है कि "पवन बंसल के साथ खेल हो गया"।

इसके अलावा लक्की के व्हाट्स एप ग्रुप्स में श्री बंसल जी को जिद्दी तानाशाह कह कर उनके बारे में अपशब्द कहे है।

मीर गुलरिया ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ में हिमाचल की करीबन 1 लाख वोट है। लेकिन मनीष तिवारी जी का हम चंडीगढ़ में स्वागत करते हैं लेकिन स लगी जो कांग्रेस के प्रधान है उनसे उनका इस्तीफा की मांग करते हैं वह इस्तीफा दे क्योंकि उन्होंने मनीष तिवारी को पर्दे में रखकर जमीनी कार्यकर्ताओं को दरकिनार हमेशा किया है।

उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के पदों से अपना इस्तीफा देते हुए कहा कि पिछले 6 महीने से कांग्रेस के कार्यालय में पार्टी के हित की बजाय प्रॉपर्टी डीलिंग की दुकान से खुल गई है। यही नहीं कई घटनाक्रम के दौरान आलाकमान के नेताओं का चरित्र  हनन भी किया जाता रहा है। कार्यकर्ताओं से मारपीट की घटनाएं आम सी है। जिसके कारण आम कार्यकर्ता कांग्रेस मुख्यालय जाना बंद कर दिया।

यह सभी कार्यकर्ता एक आम कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता की तरह पार्टी के लिए वफादारी से काम करेंगे आने वाले वक्त में।

Brookfield International School in the school organized the Installation ceremony of the Interact Club, Rotary Club at its campus. The chief guest was Interact Club President Ashima Sachdeva. The mission of the club is to promote our community's most valuable resource- Responsible Leadership. The children were made aware of the humanitarian service, encouraged high ethical standards in all vocations, and helped in building goodwill and peace in the world.

Later, President Ashima Sachdeva made the students aware of the activities which could be followed during the year. President Manav Singla motivated the students to work for the underprivileged sections of society. Bhangra by Grade 5 students and a heartfelt vote of thanks concluded the event.

Chandigarh, April 17, 2024:- In a historic milestone, Dr. Hemant Bhanawat and Dr. Deepa Guleria, both Assistant Professors at NMIMS Chandigarh School of Commerce, were recently jointly awarded a patent titled, "Blockchain-based System of Secure Transaction Protocol for Efficient Financial Auditing of Large Organisations" by the German Patent and Trademark Office. Their innovation relates to Financial Transaction Processing and Auditing. It pertains to the application of Blockchain technology in the auditing of financial transactions within large organisations.

 

The field of financial auditing within large organisations currently consists of methodologies that are primarily manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. Traditional financial auditing systems are heavily reliant on centralised databases. They have significant limitations in terms of efficiency, transparency, and security. Moreover, the centralised nature makes these systems vulnerable to fraud and cyber-attacks, and their manual components introduce risks of human error and inefficiency. There is an urgent need for auditing systems that are not only capable of handling large volumes of transactions but also provide robust security features, real-time data processing, and transparent audit trails in light of heightened regulatory demands and the sophisticated nature of financial crimes today.

 

The advent of blockchain technology has introduced new possibilities for enhancing security, transparency, and efficiency in various fields, including finance. Initially popularised by its application in cryptocurrencies, blockchain's potential for broader financial applications, especially in auditing, is increasingly being recognised. However, the use of blockchain for auditing in a way that balances confidentiality with transparency remains largely unexplored and undeveloped.

 

The invention by Dr. Hemant Bhanawat and Dr. Deepa Guleria introduces a novel approach to financial auditing by employing a dual-layer blockchain architecture, encompassing both private and public blockchains, to enhance the security, transparency, and efficiency of financial transaction processing and auditing. The invention integrates advanced cryptographic techniques, smart contract automation, and user-friendly interfaces and also encompasses scalability and interoperability features, making it suitable for integration with a variety of existing financial systems and databases. The use of blockchain technology in this context represents a significant innovation in the fields of financial auditing, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, offering a robust solution for large organisations facing complex

auditing challenges in the digital age.
